Dear Music teachers and students

Welcome to the MuTechLab website.

MuTechLab is an initiative taken by the Institute of Musicology and the Arts at the University of Luxembourg.

The objective of MuTechLab is to promote the use of technology in music performance and education, with a focus on training pre- and in-service music teachers in dialogue with music students.

A key rationale for the project is to integrate a range of technologies into musicians’ identities as performers, thereby fostering the broader incorporation of educational technology.

A first initiative was the FNR-funded PSP-Classic project.

MuTechLab has now become a course in the Bachelor in Music Education.

We are currently working on a certificate program for BEM graduates and in-service teachers.

More projects will follow in the near future!
